Hi, I'm Joey.

I live outside Boulder with my wife and our dog Nora.

I write to think. Most of what ends up here is stuff I wish I'd known earlier, or hadn't had to find the hard way. I pass along recommendations for things that have improved my life and share whatever I'm currently excited about.

My day job is co-owner at BugSplat, a small bootstrapped software company that builds crash reporting tools for developers. I mostly work the business side, but small means wearing a lot of hats.
